Honey Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli Honey Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli

This steak recipe features a unique flavor that combines sweet with spicy.  Serve this Honey Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli recipe over white rice!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of instant white rice, cooked
  • 1 pound of pepper steak, sliced
  • 2 crowns of broccoli, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice (high pulp)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil

Directions

  1. Cook rice as directed on box and set aside.
  2. Preheat large pan over medium heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, orange juice, honey, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, and olive oil.
  4. Add steak to mixture and toss thoroughly.
  5. Then, add steak and honey teriyaki mixture to hot pan and bring to boil. Cover pan and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes (or until meat is cooked through). Be sure to stir occasionally.
  6. Once meat is cooked through, add broccoli to top of steak and honey teriyaki mixture. Do not mix in! Cover pan and allow steam to cook broccoli for about 2-3 minutes, or until broccoli is bright green.
  7. Remove from heat and stir entire mixture.
  8. Serve the Honey Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli recipe over cooked white rice. Be sure to spoon the honey teriyaki sauce on the rice!
