If you frequent this site you'll notice I've updated the picture of this recipe from it's original...which in turn, is a major upgrade. It took me this long until I made this recipe again, and I forgot just how good this chicken dish was!

Now, I feel much better.

Roxanne, thank you for the review on this chicken dish. I'm glad to hear your family enjoyed it.

No capers?? You're missing the key ingredient! Haha, that's the best part! That's ok, i'm sure it came out tasty either way.

I like the recommendation of using chicken stock as a subsitute. I will try that the next time i make this recipe.

I look forward to trying your dish featuring spinach...

I made this dish last night for the family; as a collective we liked it. I omitted the capers because none of us in the house are big caper fans unless it's of the "who dunnit" variety (yep, it's lame joke Wednesday)... I like the butter, white wine and garlic combination (always have).

In making this dish in the future, I will scale back the butter to half the current amount and subsitute the difference with chicken stock (or veggie stock) to keep the flavor but lower the calorie and fat content.

I'll make the penne pasta recipe this weekend. And, hopefully with any luck, will be able to settle on a spinach dish worthy of posting.

Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Bon appetit!
